Our Preschool

Lighthouse Day School is a faith based, bi-lingual (German/English)  preschool program, that offers different options of traditional and extended hours. Our program has been established through a vision for a more wholesome place where all children can learn and grow at their own pace. The environment has been designed to help optimize the well being of young children by excluding plastic materials and enhancing our classrooms with earth tone colors that promote a sense of calm and well being.

Our staff is dedicated to families and children and thrive to help develop a love of learning while preparing all students for entry into the school system.  We are located inside Seaman Community Church and provide a clean and safe learning environment filled with light and sunshine.

With over 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood field we are ready to make a difference in your child's life. If you are looking for small class sizes and creative teaching that includes music, drama, language and lots of fun, Lighthouse is your place. 

We are introducing Animated Alphabet, Handwriting without Tears, Math and Science Concepts, as well as German Heritage lessons through music and movement.

            Who We Are

We are a small team and our preschool director also operates as a teacher. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and speaks fluent German and English. Our assistant teachers are friendly, mature, experienced and well educated.
